The Ontario Hybrid Corn Performance Trials and the Ontario Soybean Variety Trials are now available at www.gocorn.net and www.gosoy.ca, respectively. With yield data and production information from across the province, these trials are a valuable tool for farmers when selecting seed for the upcoming season.

In an effort to get Ontario Winter Wheat Performance Trial information to farmers in a timely manner, Grain Farmers of Ontario hosted an interactive webinar on September 1st.

GFO’s Manager of Research and Market Development, Crosby Devitt, moderated the online seminar. Members of the Ontario Cereal Crop Committee were on camera to provide comments about the growing season and to describe the performance trials and their results. They also answered questions provided by the webinar viewers.
